OfficeMail 3.4.3 Released
Pitney Bowes’ Emtex is pleased to announce the general availability of OfficeMail 3.4.3, which supersedes all prior versions.  OfficeMail sends your ad-hoc office mail to a destination-local print bureau for amalgamation and printing via a specialised printer driver.  You just choose File | Print | OK and your letter has gone.  No more envelopes, stamps, posting, envelope stuffing, stationery etc. for most ad-hoc mail.

If you are sending a letter to England, for example, seconds after clicking OK, your electronic document is being combined for printing by a local print shop in England.  Your mail is printed as close as possible to the destination, which has to be better for the environment, and MUCH faster to deliver.

OfficeMail supports electronic stationery, signatures, attachments and inserts, colour and b/w, simplex/duplex etc.  OfficeMail is designed for large corporate structures with thousands of users as well as prepay home users sending 2-3 letters per week.

OfficeMail 3.4.3 includes several stability enhancements, as well as:
  • The ability to customise the Reserved Areas behaviour, if encroached upon.
  • Multi-machine support, with encrypted and compressed transmissions between same.
  • Mailmerge capabilities with templates and recipient list uploads generating thousands of copies at the print site, without the traffic of sending thousands of copies over the internet.
  • The ability for print sites to define a list of acceptable incoming connections.
Opportunities exist for print bureaux to get in on the ground floor and become print and mail destinations for worldwide OfficeMail users.  OfficeMail print output runs on your b/w or colour plain paper laser printers and is intelligently bundled to suit your printers.
