 Introducing P/I OfficeMail

Every organization needs to control costs and keep at the forefront of technological advances. There is an overlooked area of cost savings available to your company now, specifically in the area of the production of ad-hoc company mail.

Perhaps this is a term that you are not familiar with. It refers to every mail piece that is created and printed at a desk top within your organization. The following diagram was prepared with research data established independently by Australia Post and Royal Mail, UK. It shows the average time taken to prepare a single piece of ad-hoc mail. Australia Post has costed the transaction at approximately $1.70. Interestingly, the Royal Mail’s figure is aggressively higher at £2.50.

The cost value quoted above includes the cost of postage. At a fixed cost of 60¢, for an unsorted, first class mail piece, the main cost-saving aim would be to reduce the number of steps needed and time taken to get an ad-hoc letter in the mail.

You can see that ad-hoc mail has a real and significant cost depending on how many pieces of ad-hoc mail your organization creates per year. In some organizations; banks, insurance companies and other financial services companies, that number can be in the tens of thousands.

We now have a new tool available to help you take control of this cost by reducing the transactional time taken to approximately one minute.
