Using On-the-Web models as benchmarks.

The On-the-Web version of Insight provides access to the financial models of selected listed companies, via Atac's website.  Once you've downloaded these models (use Insight On-the-Web's "On-the-Web | Information Service" menu item), you can benchmark your results against them using Insight's DELTA facility - just as you can use Insight to compare any two financial models.

Will Insight help with my Cashflow?

Insight is the ideal tool for controlling Cashflow. 

Simply enter your financial forecast and Insight will calculate the Cashflow that will result. You can then model your worst-case, best-case (and anything in between) scenarios and see exactly the effect they would have on Cashflow. 

If you have a specific Cashflow target in mind, you can enter that target and have Insight show all your options for reaching it.

Is buying over the Web safe?

Using your Credit Card over the Web is at least as safe as using it any other way.

Prior to entering your credit card details, you'll be transferred to a secure server, directly connected to the world's major financial institutions. At no stage does Atac have access to your credit card details, we are simply informed by the secure server that the transaction has been successful or otherwise.

Of course if you still have any concerns and you'd prefer to Fax or e-mail your credit card details, Atac will accept orders by either of these means.

What data do I need for Insight?

Insight works at the Earnings and Balance Sheet level. All the financial data required by Insight is available from any standard set of financial accounts, and does not require you to prepare any additional information.

Via our On-the-Web Information Service, we provide Insight financial models of selected listed companies for benchmarking and analysis purposes. All of these models are prepared from the published financial results of those companies.

How do I get my data into Insight?

There are several methods to load financial data into Insight.

You can can import directly from several other financial products, including Solution 6's practice management software. In addition, Insight will both import and export data in comma-delimited format. It is common for users to extract data from their accounting systems into comma-delimited format and then import into Insight.

Insight works on a total of approximately 30 numbers, with most financial models using only about 20. In many cases it's easier to enter the data manually - made even easier by using Insight's "Accounts View" and "Data Entry Advisor" facilities.

What exactly is the Du Pont method?

An internationally-recognized method of measuring the performance of any business that was devised by the Du Pont Corporation. 

Du Pont analysis is based on the three critical measures of Profitability %, Asset Turnover and the Return On Capital Employed %. 

It is commonly taught as part of MBAs and other financial analysis courses around the world.

How do I restart the software download?

Should your software download fail for any reason and you cannot get back to the post-sale download page - you'll need to contact us at insight.support@atac.com.au for restart instructions. You will still receive your payment receipt and Registration email.

Please provide your User Name, Registration code, or payment information for us to identify the sale.
