Although Insight's key goal is to get the most out of every business, it's also been designed to let you know what's going on "behind the scenes", and help develop your financial skills.  We've been so successful that Insight has been included in several higher-education courses, including those for Chartered Accountants..

There are several ways Insight  identifies the relationships between various financial items, and shows how all the various components interact to produce the "bottom line".

Screen Layout. Right from the start, Insight's graphical layout shows you the relationships between the major components, and how Earnings/Revenue, Balance Sheet and Funding all flow into the business results. 

You can tailor Insight's screen layout by expanding individual items to show their component parts and the key business drivers they affect.

High-level approach. Insight uses less than 30 financial figures, all of which are available from standard financial reports. This allows us to concentrate on the overall business health, without getting distracted by the detail, and allows us to present everything on the one screen - in an easy-to-understand format.

Delta. Probably the most powerful educational tool of all. After each change you make to a model, use Insight's Delta feature to show only those items that have been affected, and by how much. You'll soon understand the relationships between the various financial items. Even the most experienced professionals can be surprised by the flow-on effects Delta reveals!

Help. Insight has an extensive built-in Help including definitions for all the financial items, the formulae behind them together with lots of management tips.
