- Printer - toner, drum, fuser, waste toner disposal, storage and retrieval of replacement consumables, time exchanging and servicing printer
- Paper - letterhead, follow-on, storage, retrieval, replacements, restocking
- Envelope - storage, retrieval, replacements, restocking
- Postage - stamps, storage, accounting for usage, restocking
- Assembly time - get up, retrieve document, verify, fold, put into envelope, seal, affix stamp, put in mailing accumulator, return to workstation
- Transport - all accumulated postal items to Postal Service somehow
